Cookie notice
nuvy uses local storage for your settings and cart, and its analytics do not use cookies. Third-party services, including Awin advertising, may set their own cookies when content loads or when you follow a shop link. Here is exactly what nuvy does store, and the two moments another company enters the picture: the sponsored banner on the home page, and a buy link.
What nuvy stores (local storage)
These are saved in your browser's local storage — not cookies — and are used only to make the app work for you. They stay on your device and are never sent to us.

nuvy_wishlist — the products you've saved.
•
nuvy_saved_price — what each of those cost on the day you saved it. It is how your cart can tell you something has got cheaper without us holding an email address or knowing you were ever here.

nuvy_skin, nuvy_sensitive, nuvy_budget, nuvy_country — what you told the setup screen, so the recommendations and prices survive a reload.

nuvy_cookie_ack — remembers you've seen this notice.
These are essential/functional: without them the app would forget your choices every visit.
Measurement, without a cookie
We count anonymous events — a visit, a shop link opened — to see how nuvy is used. It sets no cookie, stores nothing on your device, and gives you no id, so there is nothing here for you to consent to or to clear. The full list of what is counted is in our Privacy Policy.
Third-party services
Loading the page brings in resources from other companies, which may set their own cookies or receive your IP address:

Awin (affiliate network) — twice: the sponsored banner on the home page is fetched from Awin as the page loads, and tapping a buy link sends you through Awin as you leave. See below.
Buy links
In addition to cookies that third-party content may set when a page loads, tapping a shop link sends you through Awin, an affiliate network, which tells the shop the visit came from nuvy so the shop can pay us a commission. Awin and the shop may set cookies in your browser at that point to remember the referral; those are theirs, set on their domains, and governed by their policies.
It costs you nothing — the commission comes out of the shop's margin — and it has no effect on what nuvy shows you: rankings are computed from price alone. If you would rather not be referred, search for the product on the shop's own site instead. Full detail is in the privacy policy.
Analytics & ads
One advertisement, and no ad cookie of ours. The home page carries a single slot under the header, labelled "Sponsored", holding creatives from the shops nuvy already compares. The images come from Awin rather than from nuvy, so Awin sees the request and counts the view; anything it sets is theirs and is covered by their policy, linked in the privacy policy. nuvy sets nothing for it. Usage is counted with a cookieless product called Umami: it writes nothing to your device, which is why counting it adds no cookie to this notice and nothing for you to accept. It is described in full under "What we count" in the privacy policy. Turning it off is your browser's Do Not Track setting, or any content blocker.
Managing storage
You can clear everything nuvy stored by clearing this site's data in your browser settings, or remove saved items from your cart in the app.
