Does YesStyle Have Tariffs? Rules by Country

The border decides this, not YesStyle. Into the United States there is no exemption to fall under, so every parcel is charged. Into Singapore, the Philippines and Canada nothing is charged below the threshold. Into the United States, the Philippines and Canada you pay at the door and YesStyle refunds it as YesStyle Credit on orders under US$1,000, claimed within 30 days. The shop's free-shipping line and the border's exemption sit at different amounts in every country, so pick your own row below.

What does each border charge?

CountryCharged aboveRateFree shipping over
the United Statesevery parcel12.5%$35.00
Singapore$311.769%$50.00
the Philippines$158.9312% + duty$60.00
Canada$14.065% + duty$50.00

Rules read on the United States 2026-10-03, Singapore 2026-10-02, the Philippines 2026-10-03, Canada 2026-10-02. These change, so an old date is a reason to verify before ordering. A threshold is written in the country's own currency; the USD figure is nuvy's arithmetic at a dated rate, not a published line. Where the rate says "+ duty" the border adds a customs duty on top that nuvy will not size, and the country page says why.

Duty, tariff, customs, import fees — which is which

Duty and tariff are the same charge, and "customs" is both the agency that collects it and the everyday word for it. It is a percentage of what the goods are worth, decided by the border rather than by the shop.

VAT and GST are a different tax. A country can charge duty, a consumption tax, both, or neither, which is why the table above has a row per country rather than one rule for YesStyle.

"Import fees" is an umbrella — it covers everything above, and it is also where one charge hides that nuvy does not quote: a courier's own fee for clearing the parcel and fronting the tax. That one is the courier's, not the border's, and it is not in any total on this page. Everything nuvy does put a number on is above.

What will your own order cost?

What the border adds is half of it. The comparison on the home page works out the other half — the shop's price and the shipping — and gives one delivered total for the country you are actually in.

Does YesStyle have tariffs?

Which countries charge import duty on a YesStyle order?

the United States: Yes at the border, but YesStyle refunds it. US import duty on Korean goods: 12.5% on the whole value of the goods, from the first dollar. You pay it on delivery; YesStyle refunds it as YesStyle Credit on orders under US$1,000 if you claim within 30 days with the customs receipt. Singapore: Only above the threshold — Singapore GST above S$400. Under it the border charges nothing; over it, 9% on the whole value of the goods. the Philippines: Yes — Philippine VAT above ₱10,000. Above that nuvy will not quote a number. Over the ₱10,000 exemption the border adds 12% VAT plus a customs duty set by how the parcel is classified — expect a bill, and not one nuvy can size. You pay it on delivery; YesStyle refunds it as YesStyle Credit on orders under US$1,000 if you claim within 30 days with the customs receipt. Canada: Yes — Canadian GST or HST above CAD 20. Above that nuvy will not quote a number. Above CAD 20 the border collects 5% GST, or HST instead if you live in a participating province — 13% on the CBSA's own mail page. Korean cosmetics carry a further 6.5% duty unless the parcel is cleared under the Canada–Korea agreement, which makes that part nothing. And Canada Post adds a flat CAD 9.95 to collect any of it. Which of those reach you is decided by where you live and what the shipper put on the parcel, so nuvy will not name a total. You pay it on delivery; YesStyle refunds it as YesStyle Credit on orders under US$1,000 if you claim within 30 days with the customs receipt.

How much is YesStyle shipping?

the United States: free over $35.00, or $6.00 below that. Singapore: free over $50.00, or $4.00 below that. the Philippines: free over $60.00, or $4.00 below that. Canada: free over $50.00, or $6.00 below that.

When was this checked?

Each country's rule carries the day a person last read it: the United States on 2026-10-03, Singapore on 2026-10-02, the Philippines on 2026-10-03, Canada on 2026-10-02. Shipping uses published shop rates where available; any nuvy estimates are marked separately. Both change, so an old date is a reason to verify before ordering.
